Just wondering if there's any news about when the switch to 360 boxes is going to be mandatory, presumably once VMs contract with TiVo comes to an end (don't know when that is, may have already happened) there will be some limited time period for this switch to occur. I know that for quite a while now VM have only been supplying 360s to new customers and obviously they're contacting existing customers and offering the switch (not sure what the criteria is for that).
There was some talk online about the switch being completed by the end of 2022 but obviously that hasn't happened.
Expecting notification of this years fairly huge price rise soon, so I have been looking at Freeview PVRs (Humax, Manhattan and MythTV) but none of them seem to be as good as the V6, so there is some incentive to stick with Virgin, but obviously if a month or so later I get switched to a 360 then that no longer applies and I would then be stuck for another year.

What is the timescale for the switchover?

Nothing's been announced, and existing TiVo/V6 customers can still install additional boxes.
But that's just an educated opinion. If you're happy with V6 firmware, then enjoy it for as long as you're able, and hope the TV360 improves sufficiently in the meantime!
