It’s getting quite tedious now. Netflix, and catch up services won’t play. Sky Sports won’t play through the Sky app. Is this just me or is it Virgin services falling apart?

Can't help with Netflix as I don't have it, you might need to give examples of your other problems. The 360 doesn't have a Sky Sports app do you mean through catchup or are you using the TVGO app.

If so, which set top box do you have? https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-box
Which other set top box apps aren't working?
Is it a wired or wireless connection?
As to the Sky Sports app, which device are you having the problems on? Also are you logging in via the VM icon?
