TV not turning off

Hi.

My virgin 360 box is set to turn tv on and off with the one red button,

for some reason it now will NOT turn off anymore, it still turns on with it.

no matter what i try it just wont turn the tv off.

When I had the problem I knew the 360 had lost the Samsung TV pairing because it wasn't available as an option for the volume keys control but my Sony amp was, after repairing the remote the TV still wouldn't power off, checked the TV and HDMI control was set to off, set it to on and everything was Ok again. Now either it was always set to off and the TV always turned off or the 4.35 upgrade reset the TV or works differently, which is why I suggested you check the TV setting,

Didn't have the problem with my mini box connected to a Sony TV and Yamaha soundbar.

Third party equipment problems suggested by the forum team is just B/S in my opinion.

I have solved this problem. (at least for me).

With everything switched on I just unplugged the HDMI lead from the back of the 630 for a couple of seconds and them plugged it back in and it worked.

one control is now functioning properly.

 I hope this works for you too.
