TV 360 and Sony Remote

Hello.

I upgraded the V6 box to  TV360 .

It's connected to a Sony Bravia KD55 AG8 television.

I was able to control the V6 box, via the Sony Remote and the IR blaster.

After updating, it no longer works.

Does anybody know of a solution?

Many thanks.

why dont you use the new 360 remote to control box and Sony TV thats what i do and all works fine

Hello

Yes, I have got that working fine.

It's be useful to be able to use the sony remote for the Virgin box, because then all the things connected to the TV would be controllable  from one remote.

I have a firestick and a video controllable via the Sony remote. It also controls any apps on the TV.

The Sony remote could control the V6 box before the upgrade. It must be achievable to somehow do the same now.

Just be handy to have everything on the same remote, as before.

Thanks for your reply though.

Try the tip that worked for an LG version here:

Just to point out though that only the 360 remote will activate the Voice features.

Hello.

I'd already seen this post.

I guess the LG system must be different to Sony.

If I type Ziggo in as the manufacturer, I then need to know the model number for a box.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Try Cisco 8685Dvr.

Hello.

The Sony does have some Cisco boxes on the list of supported models.

Unfortunately, that one isn't on it.

Thanks for the suggestion.
