Splitting input

I wish to re-locate my Hub3 router from upstairs to the ground floor where I have a cable input to my TV box.  Can I split the signal to the TV box to also feed the router for my broadband and if so, how?

The coax network is VMs property & should not be tampered with. Any DIY alterations could cause issues with the local network.

Call faults & ask for the cable alterations to be done. This will be carried out for a one off fee of £99 for the specialised coax to be installed & the signal levels to be rebalanced at the street cabinet.
