Sound problems with soundbar and 360 box

I have a Samsung soundbar but the sound keeps going off for a couple of seconds when I use my virgin 360 box. It also goes off for a couple of seconds then comes back on when using the virgin box and no soundbar.

To confirm, is the soundbar connected to the 360 box?

No the soundbar isn't connected to the V360 box

Have you tried a different power socket to connect the soundbar to?
