Sky sports red button

When selecting red button on Sky golf channel I get correct pictures but audio is totally something else. I have rebooted all and still the same. Have been in touch with Virgin and have had boxes reset from their end but still no good. Has been going on for at least a month and no notification of fixes. Any ideas?

That is a very good point. I'd forgotten the 360 bins the SD version of any channel you have in HD.

My V6 box was upgraded via software to 360 as is a Virgin way. The other way I believe is you get a 360 box. 

My 360 route of obtaining sky sports red button as I've said previously show proper pictures but random looped music. There is either a 360 red button  issue across the board from an upgraded V6 box or it's just on my system which it appears not. I really hope I have made myself clear as to the issue and the hardware/software that I'm running. Can virgin please assist? Thanks

Ooops,

I forgot to add, my 360's are both upgraded V6's and I've now checked the red button on SS Golf HD on both boxes, and they both play music instead of commentary.

One of the moderators has  been able to replicate this issue and has logged this with our specialist team to have the issues investigated again.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon but at the moment we can't give any more information other than it has been raised with the team.

I will come back to this thread once we have any further updates.

After having no commentary on the main view of the Formula 1 today on a TV 360 I did a Iittle trying different settings.
This is what I found.

• I could hear sound for the main show only when the multi-screen selector was being viewed and also the commentary
• If I selected the main show then I could only hear the sound of the race and the crowd but no commentary 
• I then tried selecting Audio Description and I could hear the commentary, but I seemed to lose the surround sound

The only reason I have Sky Sports is for the Formula 1  so would really appreciate and update on the ETA for having this bug fixed

Hi Ian,

I'm on version 4.33, using the TV speakers, and had no problems with the audio, either on the F1 channel or the red button.

This was on the second practice session and also the Sprint.

Thanks for the info Dave.

When I switched on my TV 360 today I think it tried to do an upgrade but I think it failed. 

I checked and it is on 4.31 -will just have to wait until it tries again..
