Recording settings

How do i set the default recording settings to record new only?? At moment I often go to watch a program and find I've already seen it as its recorded a repeat.  I then edit future recordings of that program to new only but can it not automatically set to that?,

There is no default setting for recordings as there was for TiVo.

You can set to new only in the advanced settings when you initially set up a new series link.

Solution for what? The answer is above. There is no default. New Only can be applied, either at initial setup of a series link or later in advanced recording settings.
