Hi,

Did we ever get a definitive answer to this?

If I watch YouTube on my Xbox the TV switches to HDR. Equally, if I watch YouTube direct from the TV app then HDR is fine. However, watching YouTube HDR content from the Virgin TV 360 app doesn't switch to HDR. Netflix on the Virgin TV 360 outputs HDR without a problem.

If the YouTube app used by Virgin doesn't support HDR, are there plans for that to change?

I am afraid YouTube in 4K is not something we currently offer and I am afraid we do not currently have any confirmation of this being added.

I have a V6 whose YouTube app provides 4K but no HDR, guess it's the same for the 360. It's not a problem for me as I have a FireTV Stick 4K.

Hi Roger.

I have other devices that DO have HDR on YouTube but I have to teach my family how to use different apps, and with everyone familiar with using the Virgin box and remote it would have been nice if the Virgin app was fully functional. 🙂
