Problem with remote since 360 box upgrade

Since the 360 upgrade, I have to press the remote two or three times to get it to work. ( I have inserted brand new batteries). Now my subtitles have disappeared, which we use a lot as my wife is hard of hearing. Does anyone else have these problems.

If the 360 has been updated to 4.42 have you checked that subtitles are still turned on, the setting can now be found under Accessibility, press Home>Settings>Accessibility.

Hi @ronmacg 

Have you tried to reset the remote?

Pressing and holding the TV and Rewind button for 10 seconds will factory reset the TV 360 remote

Then to pair the 360 remote again hold down the 'TV' button and '0' button together until the Standby button starts to flash.

If the remote appears to have stopped working wiggle it a few times. You should also make sure the the Power Saving mode setting is on Fast Start
