Poorly 360 box - Won’t boot up

Hi, my 360 box won’t boot, yellow light flashes 2/3 times then nothing. Started about a week ago.

Power cycled many times, unplugged for an hour a few times usually won’t boot.

Reseated all cables many times too.

It has booted twice but then screen goes blank / yellow light after a few minutes use.

Broadband is working fine for everything else.

If it's not starting up it sounds like a faulty box and the quickest way to get a replacement would be to phone 150 from a Virgin phone and go through to faults, you could wait for a forum team member to pick this up but it maybe a couple of days.

 

Cheers, yeah thought so, really can’t face ringing 150 waste of time usually.

Support in here slower but powered by humans with no scripts!

I’ll wait for a nice support bod.

Morning

Yeah box still has the same issue, tried a few more power cycles, re-insert power cable.

It’s still refusing to boot and is currently a door stop 🙂

The 360 box was swapped as it was not booting at all - No welcome screen, nowt.
