No 4k resolution option with 360 box

I've got the 360 box connected to a Denon x4200 receiver and then a 4k Epson projector. The 360 box is not sending a 4k signal, and the resolution options in settings are only 576, 720 and 1080. Currently set on automatic.

I've tried power cycling to force a new HDMI handshake, but no change. All equipment connected with fibre optic HDMI cables, and 4k works with other devices, just not the 360 box.

How do I force the 360 box to set 4k resolution?

You can't force the 360 into 4K it detects the native resolution of the TV, as you are not using a 4K TV I can only suggest you read this help page while you wait for someone with experience of connecting a projector, if you connect the projector directly to the 360 does it pick up that it's connected to a 4K device.
