I’m getting error code cs2200 when trying to play recordings, and I also can’t pause live tv, is there a quick fix?

Hi @Jax650

It sounds like you have a 360 box so I've moved your post to that forum.

VM Forum Staff don't tend to look in the chatter forums.

There is online help available for virgin-tv-error-codes/cs2200 which advises that you contact VM.

Before you do that, are these problems occuring on a 360 mini box?

If not  and you only have one 360 box, the main box which includes the hard drive, have you tried rebooting it?

Also if you just have the main box then you could try a factory reset

To factory reset go to Settings (the cog at the end of the Home menu) > System > Factory Reset. It's actually misnamed and only a partial system reset and not a complete factory reset. You are given 2 options

Keep Recordings
Format Disk

Choose Keep Recordings, that means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up. You will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITV Hub again. Also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.

If you have both a main and  a mini 360 then the following applies.

The mini box dosn't have a hard drive so can't record unless your main 360 is switched on as that's where it stores the programs.

Go to Settings > System > Standby power consumption. You have 3 choices.
Fast start  - the 360 starts quickly but is less energy efficient
Active start - more energy efficient than fast start but the box takes a little longer to start up
Eco start - the most energy efficient and probably the one you're using. It uses minimal power but takes a while to start.
The first two options are best if you have a mini box and want to watch a recording on it

The mini box only pauses for around 2 minutes. To watch a paused program - On the main box press Record. On the mini box  Press My Shows and scroll down to the end and you’ll see the name(s) of 360 boxes you have connected. Select the mini box press OK  then choose the show you want to watch and press OK. (The main box however buffers for around 3 hours)
