My virgin 360 remote controlled the volume and power on my TV since I've had it. The other day I disconnected the hdmi to test another TV and since I reconnected the hdmi to my main TV the remote has stopped controlling the tv.
I've tried holding the tv button and 0 for 10 seconds but all this does is display a message saying the remote is now paired with the virgin 360 box and it still doesn't control my tv
I've spoken to virgin technical support but they didn't understand what to do and suggested replacing the remote but I don't believe it's a fault with the remote because it only happened when I reconnected the hdmi cable.
Any ideas??

Hi Marge010,
Thanks for your post, and a warm welcome back to our Community Forums.
I'm sorry to hear you're having some trouble with controlling the volume and power to the TV. It does appear that the remote has unpaired with the TV itself, and the method of holding the TV Button and 0 for 10 seconds wouldn't fix this - this is only if the remote and 360 box have unpaired.
Please try following these instructions to re-pair your TV and remote:
Please do let us know if these instructions work (or don't), and we'll be happy to assist further.
Thanks,

Hi
I've checked settings but there isn't an option to pair remote with my TV. There is an option to pair remote to audio system but that's it.
The menus I have when in settings are:
Profiles, Accessibility, Parental controls, Audio & video, System, Info.
I've checked the sub menus under these options and I can't find it anywhere.
Please help
Thanks
