Is this on a 360 main box or a mini box and do you get an error message ?

How many 360 boxes do you have?
If you only have one, it's a master. Any additionals will be minis which won't have a hard drive but stream from the master.
Can you view any recordings, or is this just specific programmes that are problematic?
What happens when you try to watch a recording?

If you have more than one 360 box then you need both boxes set to fast start or active start and they both have to be connected to your hub either by ethernet cable or wifi, ethernet cable for the main box is preferable.
When you go to your Saved recordings and select one to watch what exactly happens.
How many 360 boxes do you have including mini boxes.
