Feedback from coax cable

Klegacy
Tuning in

Hi again,

So I have massive feedback in my powered speakers out of my surround surround.

Coming from virgin media.

I can be on my Apple TV through the surround sound, and have feedback unless I disconnect the virgin media from the system. (Either the hdmi from virgin to surround or the coax cable to the virgin).

I have removed all unnecessary plugs etc and stripped the system down to bare minimum, to ensure it’s no power crossover: and I have also swapped the main 360 box for on from the room.

Either way as soon as the coax is connected it introduces feedback that I hear through my powered speakers.

360 / Apple TV >>>> Marantz AVR >>>>> TV/KRK Rokit 8 powers monitors.

Never had this problem with Sky.

Could this be a coaxial issue from outside to the house? It’s confusing me, as the speakers are fine with anything else, but not with the virgin?

thanks in advance for any pointers
