Communication between 2 boxes

When I see play a recording on the tv in my bedroom that I recorded on the downstairs box, I just get a red circle ️ going round…& nothing appears on my tv! It used to be ok until recently…it’s really frustrating!!

My 360 boxes are hardwired together - co-ax and ethernet - and I have no problems. Initially, I experienced glitches but set both boxes to 'fast start' in the settings menu and the problem has never reappeared.

Hi @Razz_221

Sorry to hear you're having issues with multi-room at the moment.

Can you confirm if you have two V6 boxes or a 360/V6 box and a mini box?

I have 2 TiVo boxes that had the software update, so they’re now 360

Thanks for coming back to us on this one and confirming that. 

As touched upon by thrice above, the boxes need to be on Fast start or Active start so the record action will wake the other box to start watching the recording. If it's on Eco mode, this won't work. 

Please check the settings and let us know how that goes.
