Apps signing out after a box reboot

Does anyone know why apps like Netflix, Prime Video and BBC iPlayer sign out after a box reboot (switching off and on, not a factory reset)? Is it just a bug or is there a way to prevent this? It's quite annoying.

We had a Virgin 360 box upgraded from V6 (hence posting in the Virgin 360 forum) but that box now won't boot after an attempted reboot, so we are waiting for new one to be delivered. However we haven't heard when that might be. It was arranged by one of your techs bit we have no messages or emails to say it is on it's way. We're expecting it today, but who knows!

Hi supered,

You should receive a text from Yodel advising when the delivery is due.

You should also be able to sign into My Virgin Media and look under tracking.
