I have 2 x 360 boxes in my house and I just had another put in my garden room, the engineer who installed said I could take another tv into the garden room and as long as I took a box from the house I could tee off to the two boxes and watch different channels together ( handy for sport with audio only on one) but In get the error code cs2004, any help please.

So the engineer has basically advised you to use your own coax, which IS AGAINST VMs TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE as it can cause serious interference problems on the local network. It won’t work as the additional length of cable must be compensated by an adjustment in the street cabinet. No adjustment, not enough signal, hence CS2004 error. The only way for this to work is with VMs specialised triple screened cable, plus the signal adjustments. VM will charge you £25 to do this. Alternatively use a laptop with an HDMI output & use VM TV Go.

VM 350BB 2xV6 & Landline. Freeview/Freesat HD, ASDA/Tesco PAYG Mobile. Cable customer since 1993

Just a triangle plastic that has 3 connections, one from box in wall and 2 connections taking it to the 2 boxes and then both are connected to tvs by HDMI leads.

Thank you, I would have paid the £25 to sort this, I will contact them.

Hi @bluebird20,

Were you able to get things sorted over the weekend for this? I'm going to pop you a PM over to get some more details so we can look into getting this booked in for you.

Thanks,
