after we add our 2 installment engineer turned up set it up and tried ringing out on our own number via mobile got nothing it just bleeped and voice said this number is not known tried again bleeped nothing got on to them tried tests on box did phone tests did it again got nothing you can incoming calls but you cant ring out engineer 40 quid for call out which we refused  tried contacting  them they told us we dont longer do them we paid for this service just wrong virgin do accept it ex customer virgin media

Thanks for coming by.  

The best thing to do is to contact your current landline provider.  If the number was taken from us to your new provider they will need to escalate via a porting team to fix for you.

This is talk talk collete their not great provider they have issues we don't know why this as happened they give us riddle on phone when we tried to explain customer service is bad there known for it

We tried to argue the point with them why it's not working and they gave no answers we knew they are wrong on phone engineer call out 40 quid to fix but we said no and they said you have to accept it there smart and clever tt on customer service we still haven't got it fixed

It's still out of action the engineer came today and he quoted it's not our problem u have to contact BT to get it checked as neighbors before us add BT they told us its not our problem to fix it talk talk but it's them that installed the line phone point talk talk as they cant fix the issue so its still out of action the original same number as we add with you landline

I'm afraid there's nothing much we can do from our end about this. :/

Your current provider should be able to come out and investigate this for you.

Talk talk engineer as been out to check it and states it's fine but can't understand why this as stopped we can't do much more something they have done to cause this we can't win with this provider tottally useless if we kept you and landline waso faulty engineer would fix it or find a issue but we can't do much more
