no dial tone

Hi we phoned up Virgin yesterday to downgrade our account to internet only, today our phone appears to be cut off totally no dial tone and no incoming signal according to our daughter.
Our services are supposed to change on the 7th of Feb.
The TV is still on, the broadband is still the original speed, I can't ring 150 as we haven't had time to sort out our alternative form of communication 
I tried to get a status check but it goes to a broken page.
I thought the 30 day thing was to possibly change our minds, we were re considering about keeping the phone connected

The email we got implies the changes happen on the 7th

"Service changes were made to your account on 7th February 2019
These changes will take effect* from 7th February 2019"
