Ok, we didn't find a fault with your equipment

So can somebody please explain why I have no landline dial tone from my landline phone?

Also......."Mobile network not available for voice calls"......?

I'm very sorry that your landline doesn't have a dial tone. I am going to send you a private message so I can take a closer look at this issue. 

I'm also sorry to hear about the problems you've had making calls from a Virgin Mobile, has this issue since been resolved?

Hi Dean C.

Landline problem now resolved. A very nice engineer called and troubleshooted the problem, which turned out to be in the external box on the wall of my property where the Virgin cables enter. All fixed an working within an hour of him calling.

As to the "Network not available for voice calls", it appears to be a weather based problem. Signal reception in my immediate area is poor-ish at the best of times, bad weather simply makes it worse.

Glad the engineer was able to resolve all of this for you and it's not back up and running. 

I do apologise that the weather causes you a few problems and hopefully this will improve in the future.
