Charged For Calls Not Made

Yes that old chestnut again.

Numerous calls are shown on my latest bill - not bad considering on both dates I was working away from home and have the hotel booking confirmations to prove it as well as not having an account at the bank that was called.

Added to that I never use the landline - it was a 'must have' as part of the package at the time.

Rather than endure the call centre and probably being branded a liar "because my full line check shows nothing sir etc. etc." anyone have any bright ideas?

*UPDATE*
Two more calls I haven't made are ready and waiting for the next bill - one of them was when I was in the Czech Republic (I somehow don't think my landline handset will work that far away)

Have tried calling 150 and it's asking for characters from a password I've no knowledge of so it's impossible to get through to them.

On the up side my contract is up...

Cheers for the reply - the line is indeed crossed with next door (discovered when I rang my mobile off the landline)

Engineer en route apparently!

Engineer has been and gone after swapping the lines back to where they should be - just the slight ordeal of dealing with the calls that were billed now...

Glad to hear the physical issue with your phone line has been resolved and you shouldn't get this issue happen again going forward.

What have you been advised about getting the billing issue resolved?

During an online chat session was advised to contact the customer care team regarding the billing issue - just about to embark on that project...
