Hub and Phone Base-Station not co-located

Hello,

I've just been sent an email advising that I will be switched to "Digital Phone" in August, and that an adaptor will be sent in the post.

The adaptor is utterly useless as my router/hub is in the loft whilst the phone point is in my front room downstairs.

I've spoken to the IT Support, which is also utterly useless as it's just an Indian with a cheat sheet of answers to standard questions.

I have CAT 6 network hub/switch near to the phone location, and wondered if Virgin have a VIOP adaptor so I can use my network/broadband to maintain a phone/landline.

Without this, I will have to give up my landline as I'm not having Virgin turning my home into a swiss cheese to install this mess!

If anyone can assist, it'd be grateful, as Virgin are at best disinterested.

TIA D.

Sorry to hear that you've not had much success over the phone to have this resolved.

Check out the envelope in the top right hand corner, and we'll be able to find a suitable solution with you.
