sansung s6 with new virgin sim not recognising PUK or network unlock pin
i have a virgin locked galaxy S6, it used to work with my old virgin sim, when they sent me a new sim a few months back i popped it in and it asked for network unlock pin, i tried it 3 times without success so it asked for my PUK which i got as prompted to from my account online under plan and devices tab, put that in, tried twice and it is saying 'not successful'. Only reason i am trying this spare phone again is the one i was using has just died so need to get this up and running, cant ring 789 i dont currently have a phone to do so and out in the middle of nowhere and this is my only hope of sorting it out, anybody able to help???
Re: sansung s6 with new virgin sim not recognising PUK or network unlock pin
The phone will be networked locked to the old EE based SIM cards. The new ones show up as a different network. You therefore need an unlocking code either from Virgin or by paying to have it unlocked at a phone shop
As a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share my knowledge. I don't work for Virgin Media.
