On August 15th, I ported my mobile number across to Virgin Mobile. I can not use iMessage or FaceTime with my mobile number (only my email). I have performed all troubleshooting suggested by Apple and this seems to be a problem with Virgin. I have seen a number of similar issues on the forum. Any suggestions?

WhatsApp is fine. It is the same issue whether Wifi or mobile data.

Would you like to confirm you've tried to uninstall and reinstall both apps and make sure you're on the latest version of iOS too and that did not work?

Okay. So I have just discovered that I am unable to send any SMS messages and this is likely to be part of the problem. Any advice?
