fraud prevention call

Hi

I ordered an iPhone 13 on Sunday and was sent a verification that it would be delivered via yodel today (5 July). I checked the delivery tracking and it notified me that the parcel has been returned to sender. I've since spoken to virgin customer service who informed me that I should have had received a call from fraud prevention in the previous 24 hrs. I've had no such call or had any missed calls to my current phone. I'm confused as to what is happening. Can anybody help
