existing sim cards disconnected but new 5g cards not yet received

Hi,

Yesterday 29/7 I spoke with Customer Service and went through the process of upgrading two existing old network 4g sim cards to the new 5g service. Having taken out new 12 month sim only contracts for my existing numbers I received confirmation emails confirming the new cards were on the way in 3 to 5 working days. Today 30/7 both my existing sim cards no longer work!

Surely this is not normal? Who should I contact who isn't in India?
