cancelling my contract abroad

I called to cancel my contract before I left and was told that it would be cancelled on the 26/6/2019 but it stills seems to be active. I am unable to call the phone line as I am in Canada. There doesn't seem to be any indication that it has been cancelled on my account online. Thanks Sam

Very sorry to hear that you've been struggling to close your account with Virgin Media.
