Wifi on the Tube

I've come back to virgin mobile from EE, with EE connecting on the underground was easy as pie, once your followed their instructions -

  1. once underground, turn on your WiFi

  2. select EE WiFi-Auto from the list of networks

  3. set the ‘access method’ to EAP
  4. set your ‘EAP method’ to SIM

I didn't need to keep entering login details at every station or every day it just automatically connected at each station day after day, please tell me it's as easy with Virgin Mobile (considering it's their network) and there's no login screens

Yes it should be.

For Virgin you can use the Virgin Connect app to configure your device. This will work in the Underground and also other locations in the UK

Once configured your device will work in the same way as on EE.

Unfortunately there is a known issue with Android 11 devices that's being investigated. This currently means they don't work with the hotspots.
