Why no spending cap option?!

Hi please someone help me as I feel like I'm going in circles with this and getting nowhere! I'm trying to set a spending cap on my daughters phone (both hers and my sons are under my phone account online..we all have sim only contracts) I've managed to set sons spending cap to £0.00 through my account but there's no option showing on my daughters to do the same for hers and I'm not sure why? There's an tab thing to click on about upgrading to set spending caps but when i click on this i just says there's no upgrade available unless i change to a phone contract :/ fingers crossed someone on here might be able to help?

Your daughter has the old EE sim, spending caps only work on the new purple SIM's.

You can ring 789 and request a replacement new sim to be sent out, or try the CS text service 07533016422, or hang on here for one of the Forum Team.
