Why have i been charged twice in the same month for virgin protect phone insurance?

I started a new mobile contract last month. I have phone insurance from virgin protect which is meant to be £6 a month. My new contract came into effect on 10th June 2019. On that day I was charged the £6 by virgin protect. Today 2 weeks later, 26th June 2019 I have been charged £6 again by them. Does anyone know why? Thanks

Hi

Usually when you start a new contract, they will charge you in advanced, for the month your in and the following month. However, this is done all together not two weeks later. 

I would contact them and question why this has happened and what the following charge represents.

I've been charged 33% of my monthly tariff already and the phone is not due to be delivered till later today lol
