I recently moved to Virgin mobile and have a voicemail. It says to enter a PIN but I have never set one up and cannot reset. What is my next step?

Hi Vinnymac, welcome to the community! Sorry to hear of your difficulties getting your voicemail set up. All mobiles are setup with a default pin. 

We can help to get this reset for you - we will need to send you a PM to pass data protection first. You will find the PM in the top right corner of the page in your inbox.

Hi, thank you to Vinnymac for PMing with me. We have reset the pin following the confirmation of some details. 

If you are in the UK and you need to reset your voicemail pin you can do so using the following instructions:

  1. Hold down 1 for voicemail or dial 222 on your mobile.
  2. Choose option 3: Settings & Features.
  3. Follow the instructions to create a 4 to 10 digit PIN. You’ll use this to access your voicemail, even from another phone.

(Remember, your PIN can’t be:)

  • 7890, 2580 or 1210.
  • An old voicemail PIN of yours or any part of your mobile number.
  • The same number repeated (4444) or a sequence up or down (1234, 9876).
