I was abroad and couldn't take calls (roaming was off) when I return to the uk I have a notification of voicemail but no voicemail. I'm guessing it got deleted because I didn't retrieve it before the 3 day period or whatever.
Problem is, I can't get rid of the notification. I've tried calling the voicemail service, I get told I have no messages. I've tried going into voicemail message settings on the same number and there is no option for changing the actual voicemail message settings??? All I hear is some fluff about other services virgin provides. ???
I've tried rebooting my phone. Honestly at this point I'm at a loss but I want the notification gone.
Anyone able to help with this?

Thank you. Can you please try clearing cache and cookies?
Open the Settings app
Tap Apps
Tap the sort by icon
Tap Show system apps
Tap Call settings
Tap Storage
Tap Clear cache and Clear data
Clearing your data will reset your phone app, removing your recent calls. It will not remove your contacts.
Please do let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
