Hello. I quite recently I bought a phone from from the Virgin Media shop. It was fine until about yesterday where I accidentally dropped it in some water. The screen works fine but it will fail to charge and respond to my hand movement. The screen is on but it is completely unresponsive and stuck on the lock screen where I cannot use it.

By now, I have tried practically all solutions for an unresponsive screen. 

Is there anyway I can replace my phone, get my phone fixed or get a refund?

I am using a Samsung Galaxy J6.

They will probably say that water damage invalidates any warranty on the phone. Not sure if you have insured it as part of your phone insurance (think it's called gadget insurance) where you can state extra electrical devices you want to insure. 

You can try to draw out the water by placing it in a bag of uncooked rice overnight. 

Failing that taking it to a local phone shop is your best bet, so they can assess it.
