Transfer Virgin Sim Card to New Phone

I currently have a Sim only deal, and I am happy with the contract.

The sim card is in a Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 originally purchased from Virgin. I now wish to transfer the number and Sim Card to a Xiaomi Poco F3. The new phone can physically take the Sim Card.

Would you kindly let me know what steps are necessary so that I can effect the above transfer.

Take it out of your old phone and insert it in the new.

Virgin don't care what phone you use on a SIM only plan.
