I have returned my Sony Xperia XA1 to Virgin for a repair to its non responsive touchscreen for the second time this year and I am wondering what is going on with it as I have had NO communication from you as of yet and its been over a week. the repair booking number is [NGBSS-100000319126517] if you could please respond asap as I have no way of calling you as I have no phone currently (obviously!)
An useful tip to fix the issue is to knock the touch screen. It sounds like a child's play but this means is tested by many users already. So you can try to knock on every corner of the touch screen gently for a few times. This would help to connect the digitizer cable to the device tightly.
