Why do I no longer get delivery or read reports on my virgin sim for texts or mms, although those options are selected in the settings?

Hi suechapman,
Thank you for your post.
Has this been confirmed to you by one of our agents?

Thank you for that. I have reached out to another team to see if we can get some more clarification on this.

@enlli I dont know if you knew but texting to iPhone's or iPad's via Google Message with SMS works but you still wont get the delivery report feature as Apple devices cant download the Google Message from the App Store as to them, Is just like iMessage over again with Facetime feature however there is a app called Google Duo what can be used as a Chat only feature but can also do Video Calls and Recording of Videos (just like the voicemail days but with Videos messages) I have also posted some links below for the apps if this is useful to anyone. Someone from Virgin may need approve the links but once ok then is safe to get.
Google Message (Android only sadly!)

Google Duo

I can confirm that SMS delivery reports stopped working once I was moved over to Virgin's Vodafone network. (I tried disabling WiFi Calling and can rule that out as it does not fix the problem.)
FYI - I'm using a Samsung A52S, which has two SIM slots. In the 2nd slot I have an EE SIM and delivery reports work fine.
