I have an iPhoneX and Virgin Sim.
I have just purchased an iPhone 12 and want to use my Sim in this new phone. When I put the Sim in my new phone it won't connect to the Virgin network.
What do I need to do to make this work?
Hi @illusion thanks for your post although I'm sorry to hear of your concerns about your SIM not working.
That is strange, the only reason this won't work is if the iPhone isn't unlocked and perhaps is still restricted to one network.
Can you please confirm if the device is unlocked?
As far as I can tell it is unlocked.
If I go into the settings I can specify a mobile network to connect to. Virgin, EE, Three etc so I would assume this means it is unlocked?
Is there a better way to be sure?
I left the sim in the new phone for about 36 hours just to see if that would help also.

I would imagine so, but can you follow this please and let me know if you can see the following:
Settings > General and tap About. Under Carrier Lock, you should see a message that says, "No SIM restrictions."
If you don't see this, your phone isn't unlocked unfortunately.
