Strange contact info for known number

My mum’s phone no longer recognises me as a contact, instead it show Wewtwwt as the caller.

Sometimes it identifies my number as a Belgian caller.

I have deleted and put the contact back in many times but nothing has fixed the fault.

The Belgian number problem has been quite widespread in the past from what I have read but this

Wewtwwt either replacing the contact or preceding it is a new issue. I have deleted the contact and put it back in a few times and also did a software update, but it hasn’t resolved the problem.

Sounds like one or more phones is an iPhone. The Belgium problem is usually cured by changing from Automatic to National in the roaming settings.

Switching of dial assist also helps

Settings > Mobile Data > SIM applications > Roaming > Select Mode > Manual > National

Reboot phone

May cure your problem. Definable worth a try
