I am aware that virgin are migrating from EE to Vodafone but how long will i be without a mobile service while this sim card activity is running?

Yes done that sim card now updating which was the case yesterday started at approx 10am and was still going 12 hours later. I have been into town this morning and get a full signal.
Can you check with vodafone if they have network issues in ST12 area

Nokia 105 swapped sim cards between phones. No change to what is being experienced. Vodafone must be having issues in my area ST12 can you confirn

Thanks for trying that @Meafordman. I have checked on our system and cannot see any issues in that area and the connection should be strong. I have refreshed your network profile to see if this has any affect on your services. Please reboot your handset and let me know. Also please could you try a manual network search on your handset.
