Sim Fraud

I was the victim of a fraudulent SIM swap in October 2018 and my Virgin mobile account was closed leaving me with no mobile phone number.

It is now January 2019 and the Virgin Fraud department has not contacted me. I was told that I would be contacted within 2 weeks. Despite several return calls to Virgin Mobile, I have received no contact from the Fraud department; no-one has contacted me about this situation and I have been abandoned by Virgin with no mobile phone number.

I cannot now pass security when I call Virgin Mobile to discuss the matter as the fraudsters have changed my passwords.

This situation is intolerable. What can I do?

Re: Sim Fraud

Get yourself a new SIM card on a SIM-only deal (not necessarily from Virgin Mobile) to enable you to have a working mobile phone again until this matter is resolved.

Re: Sim Fraud

Hi there H9GGY, welcome to our forums.

I'm sorry to hear that this has been the case.

I'm going to send you a PM so I can take a look at this for you further.

Thanks
