Sim Activation

I have installed a new sim in my Samsung S8 and it wont accept the unlock code

Is it possible you could expand on what's going on here please? When you advise of an unlock code - what is this for? Is it to unlock the handset or the SIM. Also just to confirm, is this a replacement SIM or a brand new SIM?

It doesn't sound to be - if I am being honest with you. It would only ask for this if the handset is locked 😞 

 

I will send you over a private message just to make sure the SIM is active, but I don't see why it wouldn't be.

The message you put up usually means that an unlock code has been put into the phone wrongly on too many occasions.

I doubt the phone is fully unlocked
