I have called in December to cancel my virgin monthly sim deal
i have not managed to get hold of chat for the last week and still received a bill.
when I called before I gave a STAC code
i already have another number with another network

If you give that STAC code to your new provider your number with them will not change, but your Virgin account will then close.

I was informed that the account would close in January 2022.
I have not received any confirmation of this and there is still a bill for this month.

So did you obtain a STAC and give that to Virgin? That won't work.
Or did Virgin give you a STAC code

Welcome to the Community Forums! Thanks for your post.
I'm sorry to hear that there's been an issue with the cancellation of your SIM. Enlli is absolutely right - your services will only terminate automatically if you have been issued a STAC from us and have given this to another provider. If you have not done this, we will need to manually de activate your SIM.
