SIM card update in electric gate control pad

I have received a new SIM card.

However all the instructions relate to replacing it in a mobile phone.

In my case the SIM card operates a remote control for electric gates via dialling its number so there is no means of texting READY from the gate control panel or subsequently entering a PIN if required.

What to do to activate the SIM?

I had thought of that but thought I would check it out first to make sure it was ok.

I will have to find someone with  a phone taking the same size SIM card as the remote device?

The Sims come as a trio so all sizes are there so will fit in any phone.

great so I can install SIM in phone at one size and then reduce as necessary to the remote device?

That is correct tony, if you look closely at the Sim you will see it pushes out of the 3 slots for all 3 size Sims so you can push back in if needed.
