Roaming

I was just wondering if when I received my monthly plan sim whether data roaming comes pre enabled or would I have to request for it to be enabled. I have read that Virgin have a roam like home service but am confused whether it is included with the monthly plan or if I have to request for it to be enabled?

Roaming is disabled by default. 

Call customer services and they will enable it for you.

Welcome to the forums Smiley Happy 

 

As Shroko has posted, it is disabled as default. The roam like home is just apart of the roaming, so once that is active then that would be active. You can do this on your online account also or if you would prefer to speak to the team, just call 789 from your phone Smiley Happy

Just wondering if there is an extra charge to enable it and if so how much?

No charge for that, hopefully you or they just need to switch it on. 

Only comment is that sometimes it doesn't work and vm need to do a reset, but you'll only know that by roaming.
