Roaming charges in france

dantek
Tuning in

I took out a virgin contract about 3 months ago.

I go to France in a couple of weeks and want to know about roaming.

My vm is using Vodafone not o2, will my allowance still work? My account says it will, but I know Vodafone now charge for roaming.

Thanks

No. Virgin don't charge for roaming, so you're OK.

Ok thanks, but are you 100% sure because I use the Vodafone network and everything I've read always states the virgin mobile o2 accounts dont charge, they never mention those that use Vodafone. Like I said Vodafone definitely do now charge on newish accounts

Hey Dantek, thank for reaching out, I hope you are having a lovely day.

Okay so the good news is you can use your phone in France as you would do in the UK.

You can find out about our roaming charges here

I would also advise please make sure your phone is set up to roam too. Thanks
