Proof of purchase

I have a problem regarding the proof of purchase for a handset I got from Virgin. I filled in the proof of purchase form but all they have done is send me an email with details of the purchase, date, phone make and model, IMEI etc but this is not valid proof of purchase. My insurance company will not accept this as an email can be easily altered. I need this as a document like a pdf. Can anybody from Virgin please help.

Re: Proof of purchase

When you had the phone delivered didn't you have included a confirmation bill?

Re: Proof of purchase

I got it from the store. But if I had that I wouldn't be asking for proof of purchase

Re: Proof of purchase

The store don't give it that's where your problem is. Hopefully Virgin can help get you the PDF you need

Re: Proof of purchase

Hi richardharrison,

Thanks for your post.

I'm very sorry to hear you are having trouble with your proof of purchase. From what you have our post, we have already done everything we can for you with regards to this. The proof of purchase form is all we are able to send out to you, we aren't able to send this in any other format. The proof of purchase we have sent you should be adequate for your insurance company to accept.

Apologies for any disappointment caused.
