Proof of USAGE document

Both of my kids have a mobile SIM only plan with Virgin and have their phone devices insured by another company.  My son has smashed the screen on his phone and can no longer access any data etc on the device.  The insurance company are asking for a "Proof of Usage" document from Virgin before they will process the claim.  I have been unable to find out how to get one of these documents for several weeks now and have spent literally hours on hold to Virgin through the call centre number to no avail. Is someone able to help me or steer me in the right direction please?

Re: Proof of USAGE document

Virgin Mobile don't provide Proof of Usage. The insurance companies should be aware of this as Proof of Usage hasn't ever been a thing from Virgin Media.

The only documentation they will do is proof of purchase for devices sold directly by Virgin Media.

Re: Proof of USAGE document

I don't think virgin provide those, not sure why your insurance needs proof of usage since you haven't  lost your phone it's just broken
