Problems with data - unable to use

Hello,

I understand there was an issue yesterday, this seems unrelated. 

I have recently started a new contract with Virgin, my data has not worked at all. Today I visited the virgin media shop and the guy corrected all my APN settings. Still not working, guy just shrugged and told me to call 789. However the phone line today is down and unable to answer any queries.

Not really sure what to do other than cancel my account at this point?
